Scheduling


Our initial case history visit takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. This visit may take longer based upon each persons unique symptoms or situation. The first hour of your initial visit is complimentary. This is a minimum $90 value we provide at no charge. However, there is no way to place a monetary value on the life changing information a person receives during this initial case history. Typical office billing rates apply to any time over the first 60 minutes. Children usually have simpler, more straightforward histories and usually only require 30 - 45 minutes. Regular office follow-up visits are approximately 15 - 30 minutes. Experience has convinced us that this is optimum time to spend working on most health issues at each visit. Your body heals in increments and stages and this format respects your healing process. We will usually recommend follow-up visits every three to four weeks during the first 60 – 120 days of care to measure your results and make necessary changes. The specific course of care recommended for each individual is more or less based upon initial symptoms, laboratory data, and how well each person complies and responds to their individual program recommendations. These follow-up visits will determine the need for continued care or maintenance care. In some cases, referral for additional support or other opinions will be suggested for you based on the follow-up findings and the degree of your progress.

Payment Methods


We are a pay-for-service clinic. Therefore, payment is expected as services are rendered. You have the options of paying with cash, check or credit card. We accept most major credit cards such as VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover Card.

Retainer Discount


You have the option of posting a retainer of $500 or more with the clinic. The costs for care are then drawn against credit on your account. If you choose to leave a retainer of $500 a 10% discount will be applied to your office visits and any in house service you may have. The 10% discount is not, however, applied towards any products you may purchase. This retainer also provides you the convenience and timesaving of not having to stop at the front desk after each visit.


A retainer increases commitment and follow-through, although the credit on your account is still under your control. You can receive a full refund on the unused portion at any time.

The "Card-On-File" Advantage


You also have the distinct advantage of being able to leave a credit card number on file to be used for payment of fees and services. This allows you the same advantages of convenience and timesaving as the retainer. You will be sent a record of all transactions via mail or email records following the completion of each office visit.

Insurance


We do not bill insurance directly and are only a payment for service clinic. We will provide for you a receipt and information for you to get reimbursed by your insurance company. However, we cannot guarantee reimbursement, as this will depend on your insurance coverage. You are responsible to know what your insurance covers.

We strive to structure our fees to be fair without compromising value and results. We have no interest in being the cheapest or the most expensive functional healthcare provider. We simply strive to be the best and to offer the best service we can for each and every individual. It is important to us that our care be available to essentially everyone committed to his or her health. We truly believe that, if you were to “shop around”, you will find our care to be very reasonable, equitable, cost effective, and even inexpensive when compared to equivalent care elsewhere.

Missed Appointments


We have a 24-hour cancellation policy and bill for appointments missed without notification. We value our time greatly and set aside specific blocks of time just for you. We do not schedule multiple appointments at the same times so that we are able to give you our complete attention while you are with us. We therefore ask that you contact us as soon as possible with any changes to your schedule so that we may make arrangements for someone else to benefit from the open time slot.

Satisfaction Guarantee


No physician can guarantee results from their healthcare. However, we are so certain of the quality of care we provide at M.A.N.A. that we extend to you a quality of satisfaction guarantee. What this means is that you can come to our office for care for three visits, which will include your case history and follow-ups at no risk. If you are dissatisfied with our service and opt to discontinue care at any point of the first three visits to our office, you can receive a full refund for the fees for services (lab cost, program design time, and/or supplies excluded). Additionally, you will be given a copy of your records and a referral, as appropriate. We do this so that you can be perfectly comfortable coming to us for answers to your health problems and consider it an honor to have the opportunity to be a service to you. We are very confident in the proper function of the human body and know that with your compliance, positive changes will begin to take place and you will reap the rewards of your efforts.

Paperwork & Records


Our health questionnaires, diet history, and other health related paperwork is extensive. This is necessary to fully understand your health picture and can save considerable costs by screening you for a variety of dis-eases and helping guide our clinicians to the tests you actually need. Often, we will have you sign a records release so that the clinican can review previous medical records. Copies of your records are always available to you at your request. Your records will only be released to other parties with a signed release form from you.
